Pick up at your hotel or accommodation in the center of Lisbon for a half day tour in Lisbon.
We start at Praça Marquês de Pombal and then we will stop at the largest park in the center of Lisbon, Parque Eduardo VII, a great viewpoint of Lisbon and an excellent opportunity to photograph the city. The tour continues towards the neighborhood of Belém, often referred to as the "Lisbon of the Discoveries."

The first stop will be at Torre de Belém, considered a Unesco World Heritage site in 1983. This famous fort, dating from the sixteenth century served as the starting point of the Portuguese caravels. Next to the Tower sits the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a caravel-shaped monument that marks the importance of this era. In Belen, the Jerónimos Monastery,  dated back to the year of 1502,  is a magnificent example of Manueline architecture and one of the main monuments of Lisbon.

The Church of Santa Maria de Belém, an integral part of the Jerónimos Monastery, houses several notable tombs of important historical figures, such as those of D. Manuel I, the monarch who ordered the construction of the Monastery. Next to his tomb, lays the Tomb of his wife, D. Maria. This is also the resting place of other tombs, such as the tomb of the legendary Portuguese navigator-Vasco da Gama and the famous Portuguese poet and writer, Luís de Camões.

Enjoy some free time and go to the famous pastelaria de Belém, to taste a typical pastel de Belém (not included).

After the visit in Belém, we will visit the center of Lisbon, for a small walking tour in the heart of Lisbon, combining history anf culture We will visit the historic centre, Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta and the Triumphal Arch, and the important neighborhoods such as Rossio Square, and Alfama, a typical Portuguese neighborhood of Lisbon, where ancient and popular customs are still preserved – here you will have time for and see the magnificent view that stretches down to the Tagus River.
