Initally known as Portus Cale, Oport, was responsable for naming Portugal. The city boasts a rich and fascinating history. Its roots go back to ancient times and over the centuries, Oporto has thrived as a cultural and commercial center. Its charming architecture portrays stories from different eras. The Roman and medieval heritage are notable influences in the city.

The northern region of Portugal is known for its historical relevance, including the city of Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal. The Douro Valley located in the north of Portugal, along the Douro River, is one of the oldest and most traditional wine-cultivating areas in the world, known mainly for the production of Port wine, a fortified wine unique to the region. The Algarve is region in southern Portugal, is known for its stunning beaches, warm climate, picturesque villages, cliffs and impressive rock caves such as the Benagil Cave. In addition to the beaches, the Algarve boasts a number of charming towns and villages, each one caracterized by its own personality and highlights. In the Algarve, cities such as Faro, the capital of the region, with its walled Old Town; Lagos, with its historic walls and bustling marina and Tavira, with a well-preserved historic center and a singular beauty due to the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

The Alentejo is one of the most extensive and least populated regions of Portugal, located in the south of the country. It is known for its countryside, vast plains, wineries, historic villages and a quiet and relaxing atmosphere Some of the most notable places include Évora, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage, due to its´rich historical legacy. Close by is Monsaraz, a medieval village with stunning views of the Guadiana River and the city of Elvas, known for its impressive fortifications.

Known as" the Pearl of the Atlantic", Madeira offers a unique combination of stunning landscapes, mild climate, vibrant culture and a rich historical heritage. The island offers an extensive variety of hiking trails, the levadas are one of the most popular attractions. The island is known for its lush flora and variety of tropical flowers. The botanical gardens, such as the Botanical Garden of Funchal and the Monte Palace Tropical Garden, are places not to be missed on your visit to Madeira. The small island of Porto Santo, which can be visited on a day trip, is also worth a visit.

The Azores Islands offer stunning natural beauty, with volcanic landscapes, towering mountains, crystal clear lakes, dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches and a rich marine biodiversity.
