Meet your guide for a walking tour of Porto's historic center.
During this guided tour, you will have the opportunity to hear and learn about its history and culture. Starting with the Cathedral of Porto (Sé),where the expansion of the city began in the twelfth century, you can contemplate a unique view over the Douro River on the D. Luís Bridge and see in the distance the ruins of the Fernandine wall and the Rabelo boats lined up along the pier.
The historic center of Porto has undergone a major transformation in recent years. We will visit the interior of the São Bento station whose tiles that cover the walls inside the station are a representation of historical facts
occurred in Portugal. We will walk along Avenida dos Aliados and Rua Santa Catarina, the best known pedestrian shopping street in the city, full of shops and where you can see the famous “Café Majestic”. We will see the Clérigos Church and Tower, as well as the Lello bookstore - considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. Finally, we went down the Flower Street.
